Legion Cable Clips TW3900, 60 Pack – Nail-In Round Cable Clips in 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 8mm

Legion Nail-In Cable Clips, 60 Pack in Four Sizes

Legion TW3900 Cable Clips are round, nail-in plastic clips with a pre-fitted steel nail, supplied as a 60 piece mixed pack: 24 x 4mm, 16 x 5mm, 12 x 6mm and 8 x 8mm. They hold cables neatly along skirting boards, walls, ceilings, fences and garden structures, keeping TV, data and low voltage cables tidy, out of the way and off the floor where they can be tripped over or damaged.

Four Sizes for Different Cables

Each clip size matches a different cable thickness. The 4mm clips suit thin cables such as speaker wire, phone cable and small low voltage leads. The 5mm and 6mm clips suit TV coaxial cable, data cable and most garden light leads. The 8mm clips take thicker cables. Choose the clip that holds the cable snugly without squeezing it, and keep a few spares of each size for future jobs.

Nail-In for a Firm Hold

Unlike stick-on clips that can peel off over time, nail-in clips are physically fixed to the surface. The steel nail is already set in the clip, so you just position the clip over the cable and tap the nail in with a hammer. That makes them a reliable choice for timber skirting, architraves, walls, battens, fence palings, pergolas and sheds, and for areas with heat or humidity where adhesive clips struggle.

Tidy Cables Indoors and Out

Inside, use them to run TV, internet and speaker cables neatly along skirting boards and door frames. Outside, they can secure low voltage garden lighting cable along timber edging, fences and pergola beams, keeping cable out of the way of mowers, whipper snippers and foot traffic.

Fitting Cable Clips Neatly

Plan the cable run first and keep it straight along skirting boards, corners or frames for a neat look. Choose a clip size that fits snugly around the cable without pinching it. Place the clip over the cable with the nail on the side of the cable, not on top of it, and tap the nail in with a light hammer, taking care not to hit the cable. Space clips evenly, about every 30 to 40cm on straight runs and closer at bends. Clips nail easily into timber. On brick and masonry, aim for the mortar joints, and use a different fixing method on hard concrete. In Australia, fixing mains power cables is work for a licensed electrician, so use these clips for TV, data, speaker and low voltage cables.
