Hose Trigger Nozzle 7 Pattern Spray Gun – Garden Hose Nozzle with Snap-On Fitting for 13mm Hoses

7 Pattern Hose Trigger Nozzle for Watering and Cleaning

This 7 pattern hose trigger nozzle is a pistol-grip garden spray gun with jet, mist, shower, soaker, cone, centre and flat spray settings, all on one rotating dial. It clicks onto a standard snap-on hose connector, suits 13mm garden hoses, and lets you start and stop the water with the trigger, so one nozzle covers watering seedlings, soaking garden beds, rinsing paths and washing the car.

Seven Sprays on One Dial

Each setting does a different job. Mist gives a fine, gentle spray for seedlings, ferns and hanging baskets. Shower is a soft, rain-like spray for general garden watering. Soaker delivers a gentle, low-pressure flow to the base of plants without splashing soil. Cone and centre give a wider or focused spray for beds and pots, flat fans water out for rinsing surfaces, and jet is a strong, narrow stream for hosing down paths, bins and muddy boots.

Trigger Control That Saves Water

Because the water only flows while you squeeze the trigger, you can move between plants, pots or the car without leaving the tap running or walking back to turn it off. That helps cut wasted water, which matters during Australian summers and water restrictions, and it makes jobs quicker when you are stopping and starting.

Comfortable Grip and Quick Connection

The handle has a ribbed, cushioned grip that stays comfortable in the hand during longer watering sessions, and the lightweight plastic body will not rust. The snap-on fitting at the base clicks straight onto a standard hose connector, so you can swap it on and off in seconds.

Choosing the Right Spray for the Job

Use mist or shower for seedlings, newly sown seed and delicate flowers, as a heavy stream can wash out soil and flatten young plants. Soaker is the pick for watering deeply at the base of veggies and shrubs, which puts water where the roots are and keeps foliage dry to reduce leaf disease. Water early in the morning in summer so less is lost to evaporation. Save jet for cleaning jobs rather than plants. After use, turn off the tap and squeeze the trigger to release pressure, then store the nozzle out of direct sun to help the plastic and seals last longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you switch spray modes on a 7 pattern hose trigger gun?
Release the trigger, then turn the front dial until the pattern you want lines up with the marker on the nozzle. Squeeze the trigger again to spray with the new setting.

What spray pattern on a hose nozzle is best for delicate plants?
Mist and shower are the gentlest settings for seedlings, delicate flowers and newly sown seed. Soaker is also a good choice for watering at the base of plants without disturbing the soil.

How do you fix a leaking hose trigger nozzle gun?
If it leaks at the connection, check the O-ring or washer in the hose connector and replace it if it is worn or missing. If it drips from the face, clean out any grit or mineral build-up from the spray holes. A cracked body usually means the nozzle needs replacing.

Will it fit my hose?
It has a snap-on fitting that clicks onto a standard click-on hose connector, and it suits 13mm garden hoses. If your hose has a different connector type, you may need an adaptor.

Can I use it to wash the car?
Yes. The shower and flat settings are good for rinsing the car, while jet is useful for wheels, mud and hard-to-reach dirt. Avoid using jet on delicate paint or trim up close.

Where can I buy a hose trigger nozzle in Australia?
This 7 pattern hose trigger nozzle is available online from BPG Supplies, with delivery across Australia and local pickup from our store in Bonnyrigg in Sydney's south-west.
