Using Heavy Duty Cable Ties

Wrap the tie around the items, feed the pointed tail through the locking head with the teeth facing inward, and pull it tight by hand or with a cable tie tool. Cut the excess tail flush with side cutters, leaving no sharp edge, as a cut tail can be sharp. Do not over-tighten around soft items like hoses or plant stems, and when using ties on growing trees or plants, check them regularly and loosen or replace them so they do not cut into the bark.
