Neutrog Bush Tucker 4kg Native Plant Fertiliser
Neutrog Bush Tucker is a complete, organic-based fertiliser developed specifically for Australian native plants. Its low-phosphorus formula is safe for phosphorus-sensitive varieties, including grevilleas, banksias and proteas, while providing the nitrogen, potassium, sulphur and trace elements needed for healthy growth.
The pelletised formula releases nutrients gradually and contains naturally occurring living microorganisms that support active garden soil. Bush Tucker was developed by Neutrog in consultation with native plant expert Angus Stewart and soil scientist Simon Leake.
Why Native Plants Need a Special Fertiliser
Many Australian natives are sensitive to the higher phosphorus levels found in general-purpose garden fertilisers. Applying too much phosphorus can damage susceptible plants rather than improve their growth.
Bush Tucker contains only 0.7% phosphorus while supplying 10% nitrogen and 8% potassium. This makes it suitable for feeding a broad range of native trees, shrubs, groundcovers and flowering plants without relying on a standard high-phosphorus fertiliser.
