Incitec Pivot No. 17 Lawn Food is a balanced granular lawn fertiliser made to keep lawns growing strongly with good, even colour. It's a complete NPKS blend based on sulphate of potash, a gentler potassium source for turf, and it suits all grass types, from buffalo, couch and kikuyu through to cool-season lawns and playing fields. The 25kg bag suits larger lawns, new turf and sports fields.
What's in No. 17 Lawn Food?
No. 17 supplies nitrogen 9.1%, phosphorus 3.8%, potassium 4.9%, sulphur 17.7% and calcium 8.2%. Each nutrient has a job:
- Nitrogen: drives leaf growth and green colour
- Phosphorus: supports root development, especially when establishing new turf
- Potassium: helps the lawn cope with wear, heat and dry spells
- Sulphur: works with nitrogen for deep, lasting green
- Calcium: supports healthy cell walls and soil structure
The potassium comes from sulphate of potash rather than muriate of potash. Sulphate of potash is lower in salt, so it's gentler on turf and less likely to scorch grass, and it adds to the sulphur content.
