YaraTera Calcinit is a fully water-soluble calcium nitrate fertiliser that supplies plants with readily available nitrogen and calcium in one product. Its analysis is 15.5% nitrogen (mostly nitrate-N, with a small ammonium fraction) and 19% calcium, and it dissolves quickly and completely with no residue. Made by Yara, the world's largest producer of calcium nitrate, it's a trusted choice for fertigation, foliar feeding and hydroponics across vegetables, fruit and ornamentals.
Both nutrients do important work. The nitrate nitrogen is immediately available to the plant, isn't lost to the air (non-volatile) and isn't locked up by the soil, which gives fast, predictable growth. The calcium strengthens cell walls, which improves fruit firmness, quality and shelf life, and helps prevent common calcium-deficiency disorders like blossom end rot in tomatoes and capsicums, tip burn in lettuce and bitter pit in apples.
Calcinit is also clean and easy to use. It's free of chlorine and sodium and virtually free of heavy metals, and unlike some nitrogen sources it doesn't acidify the soil.
How to Use
Calcinit dissolves readily in clean water for application through drip systems, sprinklers, centre pivots, spray units, or as a foliar spray or hydroponic feed. General guide rates:

Important compatibility note: Calcinit can be mixed with most water-soluble fertilisers, but do not combine it in a concentrated stock solution with phosphates or sulphates, as this causes a precipitate. In two-tank fertigation systems, keep calcium nitrate in one tank (Tank A) and phosphate/sulphate fertilisers in the other (Tank B).
