Warfarin Pellet Bait for Rats & Mice Around the Home
David Grays Rat & Mouse Killer Pellets are a ready-to-use rodenticide bait for controlling nuisance rats and mice around the home. The active constituent is warfarin at 0.25g/kg, an anticoagulant bait in a highly palatable pellet form, supplied in a convenient 350g shaker pack that makes it easy to place the bait exactly where you need it.
How It Works
Warfarin is an anticoagulant. Rats and mice need to feed on the bait over several days for it to work, rather than from a single feed, so it's important to keep a fresh supply available until activity stops. This slower, multi-feed action is normal for warfarin baits and helps the whole local population take the bait.
How to Use
Place small heaps of pellets where rats and mice are active, ideally inside cupboards and along walls where you've seen droppings, gnawing or runways. Keep other food covered while baiting so rodents go for the bait. Check the bait regularly and top it up as it's eaten, and keep replenishing until feeding stops. Always place the pellets in locations that are inaccessible to children, pets, other animals and birds. Follow the APVMA approved label on the pack for full directions.
Safety Information
This is a poison. Keep out of reach of children. Place bait only where children, pets, other animals and birds can't get to it, and keep it away from food and food preparation areas. Wear gloves when handling the pellets and wash your hands afterwards. Store in a cool, dry place in the original container. Warfarin is an anticoagulant, and if a person or pet swallows the bait, seek medical or veterinary advice promptly. Vitamin K1 is the antidote for anticoagulant baits, which your doctor or vet can advise on.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do David Grays Rat & Mouse Killer Pellets work?
They contain warfarin, an anticoagulant. Rodents feed on the bait over several days and the effect builds up until they die, so keep a fresh supply of bait out until activity stops.
Where should I place the pellets?
Put small heaps where you've seen rat or mouse activity, along walls and inside cupboards, and always in spots that children, pets, other animals and birds can't reach. Keep other food covered so the rodents take the bait.
How long does it take to work?
Because warfarin needs to be eaten over several days rather than in one feed, it works gradually. Keep replenishing the bait as it's taken and continue until feeding stops.
Is it safe around children and pets?
It's a poison, so it isn't safe if reached. It must be placed out of reach of children, pets, other animals and birds, and kept away from food. If any is swallowed, seek medical or veterinary advice promptly.
Where can I buy David Grays Rat & Mouse Killer Pellets 350g in Australia?
