Passwell The Good Oil is an omega 3 and 6 blend for birds, made to supply the essential fatty acids that most seed diets lack. It's a seed-soak oil: you mix it through the seed and let it stand, so the birds take up the fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins as they eat their normal feed. This 1L bottle is an economical size for breeders and larger aviaries.

Essential fatty acids (EFAs) are the omega 3 and 6 fats that a bird's body can't make itself and so must get from the diet. They matter most at breeding time: bird eggs are over 25% unsaturated fat (oleic, omega 3 and omega 6), and seed mixes alone don't supply enough of these EFAs, so supplementing supports better egg production, chick growth and immunity. The Good Oil also carries fat-soluble vitamins A, D3 and E, which support embryo development, calcium absorption and eggshell formation, and act as an antioxidant.

How to Use
