BVM Pink Powder Probiotic 4kg – Vitamins for Birds with Minerals and Bird Probiotics

Vitamins for Birds Plus Probiotic in One Pink Powder

BVM Pink Powder Probiotic is a complete supplement that delivers vitamins for birds, essential minerals and a bird probiotic in one easy powder. It combines 21 vitamins and minerals with Protexin, an avian-specific registered probiotic, to support overall health, digestion and condition in pigeons, poultry, parrots and most other caged and aviary birds. Made in Australia by Mineral Energy Pty Ltd from quality ingredients, this 4kg tub is the bulk size for lofts, aviaries and larger flocks.

Why Captive Birds Need a Multivitamin

In the wild, birds eat 15 to 20 different foods a day and get a broad range of nutrients naturally. Captive birds on a narrower diet often miss out, so a multivitamin for birds helps fill the gaps. The bird probiotics in BVM support healthy gut bacteria, which helps birds absorb more from their food, useful for general condition and for birds that are run down, stressed or recovering from illness. For a specific health problem, always consult an avian vet as well.

Bird Vitamins and Supplements for Pigeons, Poultry and Cockatiels

As one of the more complete bird vitamins and supplements available, BVM suits a wide range of species. Racing and show pigeon keepers use it as part of their pigeon vitamins routine, poultry keepers add it for backyard chooks, and parrot owners use it for cockatiels, budgies, lorikeets and other aviary birds. The pink powder is highly palatable, so birds take to it readily, and parents will even feed it to their hatchlings.

B12 and Other Vitamins in BVM

The formula covers the key fat-soluble and B group vitamins, plus trace minerals, calcium sources and a multi-strain probiotic:

• Vitamins: A, D3, E, K, B1, B2, B6 and B12

How to Use

BVM can be offered two ways. For free access, put about half a cup of powder in a clean, dry container and place it in a feeder or raised position, out of direct sunlight, so birds cannot scratch through and foul it. Alternatively, mix the correct dose into wet or soft feed. It is not recommended to mix through dry seed or pellet mixes, as it will not stick and stay consistent. When you first start, monitor your birds. Some do well with free access, while others do better with a controlled dose through feed.

Important: Do Not Double Up

Do not use BVM at the same time as other bird supplements or fortified or complete feeds that already have vitamins and minerals added, as many pellets, mashes and premium seed mixes do. Too much of a nutrient can be as harmful as too little. Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. Not for human consumption.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is BVM Pink Powder?
It is a complete avian supplement combining 21 vitamins and minerals with a multi-strain probiotic (Protexin), designed to support the health, digestion and condition of pigeons, poultry, parrots and caged birds.

Does BVM contain B12 for birds?
Yes. Vitamin B12 is part of the formula, along with B1, B2 and B6. Pigeon keepers looking for B12 vitamins for pigeons can use BVM as part of a balanced routine.

What are the best vitamins for birds?
Look for a complete formula that covers the main vitamins and trace minerals, is easy for birds to eat, and suits your species. Many of the best bird vitamins also include a probiotic for gut health, as BVM does with Protexin.

How do you use BVM Pink Powder?
Offer it for free access in a clean, dry container in a feeder or raised spot, or mix the correct dose into wet or soft feed. It is not recommended to mix it through dry seed or pellets.

Can I use it with other supplements or fortified feeds?
No. Do not combine it with other supplements or feeds that already have vitamins and minerals added, as too much of a nutrient can be as damaging as too little.

Where can I buy bird supplements in Australia?
