About Naadco

Naadco is the brand of New Australia Agricultural Development Company Pty Ltd, an Australian supplier of agricultural chemicals. Its products are made for Australian growing conditions and sold with full label directions for registered crops, weeds and pests.

The range suits broadacre farms, orchards, vegetable growers, nurseries and commercial weed control. Many growers choose Naadco as a reliable, lower-cost alternative to premium-priced brands using the same active ingredients.

Naadco Herbicides

Glyphosate 450 Herbicide

Glyphosate 450 contains 450g/L glyphosate, a Group 9 (formerly Group M) systemic herbicide. It moves through the leaves down to the roots, controlling annual and perennial grasses, broadleaf weeds and woody weeds. It leaves no soil residual, so treated ground can be replanted once weeds die.

Choose the Glyphosate 450 1L for spot spraying with a knapsack, or the Glyphosate 450 20L drum for farms, contractors and large areas.

Paraquat 250 Herbicide

Paraquat 250 is a fast-acting contact knockdown herbicide with 250g/L paraquat. It burns down green weed growth within hours and is deactivated on soil contact. Its different mode of action makes it a useful partner to glyphosate in herbicide resistance programs.

Paraquat is acutely toxic and is for trained, licensed commercial users only. Following the APVMA's 2026 review, it remains registered with tighter restrictions on rates and uses, so always work from the current approved label.

Naadco Insecticides and Miticides

Abamectin 18 Insecticide/Miticide

Naadco Abamectin 18 contains 18g/L abamectin, a Group 6 miticide registered for pest mites on apples, pears, citrus, tomatoes, strawberries, hops and ornamentals, plus mites and native budworm on cotton. It moves into the leaf and stays active for several weeks. Available in 1L and 5L packs.

Pyriforce Insect Growth Regulator

Naadco Pyriforce contains 100g/L pyriproxyfen, a Group 7C insect growth regulator. It stops eggs hatching and prevents nymphs maturing into breeding adults. It's registered for silverleaf whitefly in cotton, whitefly in tomato and capsicum, and scale insects in citrus.

Use Every Product by the Label

Agricultural chemicals are registered for specific crops, pests and rates. Always read the label before use, wear the listed protective equipment, and observe withholding periods and re-entry times.

To slow resistance, rotate products from different chemical groups rather than relying on one. Avoid spray drift, don't spray flowering plants while bees are foraging, and keep all chemicals out of waterways. Store products locked away in their original containers.

FAQs

Who makes Naadco products?

Naadco products are supplied by New Australia Agricultural Development Company Pty Ltd, an Australian agricultural chemical company offering herbicides, insecticides and miticides for farms and horticulture.

Is Naadco Glyphosate 450 the same as Roundup?

Both contain glyphosate as the active ingredient and work the same way. Naadco Glyphosate 450 contains 450g/L glyphosate, so always follow its own label rates rather than those of another product.

What's the difference between glyphosate and paraquat?

Glyphosate is systemic, moving to the roots to kill the whole plant over one to three weeks. Paraquat is a contact herbicide that burns off green growth within hours but doesn't kill established roots. Many growers use both in rotation.

Can anyone buy paraquat?

No. Paraquat is a restricted, highly toxic herbicide intended only for trained, licensed commercial users. Requirements vary by state, so check your local regulations before buying or using it.

What does abamectin control?

Abamectin 18 is registered mainly for pest mites, including two-spotted mite and European red mite, on fruit, vegetable, hop, cotton and ornamental crops. It's not a household pest product.

How does an insect growth regulator work?

An insect growth regulator like pyriproxyfen interrupts an insect's life cycle. It stops eggs hatching and juveniles maturing, so pest numbers fall over one to two weeks rather than instantly.
