Yates AgriBoost Chicken Manure Pellets: Organic-Based Slow-Release Fertiliser
Yates AgriBoost is an organic-based fertiliser made from fully composted chicken (poultry) manure, pressed into pellets for clean, even spreading. With a typical analysis of NPK 3.5-1.1-1.6 plus calcium, magnesium and sulfur, it feeds your plants slowly while it conditions the soil, so it works as both a fertiliser and a soil improver in the one bag.
Because the manure is composted and heat treated, most weed seeds are killed and harmful bacteria are greatly reduced, which makes it cleaner, more consistent and easier to handle than raw manure. Its nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium levels are also higher and more reliable than raw poultry manure, and being slow-release means there is minimal risk of burning or leaching when used as directed.
It suits a wide range of plants, from lawns and vegetables to flowers, trees and shrubs, and is used in home gardens as well as horticultural and landscaping jobs. It is a BFA registered product, making it a certified input for organic production. From the makers of Dynamic Lifter, Australian made and owned.

How to Apply
Spread the pellets evenly over the soil around your plants, then rake in lightly and water well to start them breaking down. As a rough guide from the manufacturer, apply around 70g per square metre for general beds and lawns, 100g per square metre for roses and ornamental shrubs every 6 to 8 weeks from spring to mid autumn, or 200g to 500g into planting holes when establishing new plants. One adult handful holds about 70g, which helps when measuring. Reapply through the growing season as your plants need it, and always water in after applying.
Good to Know
Because it feeds slowly, AgriBoost is well suited to improving sandy or tired soils where you want steady, long-term fertility rather than a quick hit. It is particularly handy for larger gardens and commercial use where an economical bulk feed is needed. One thing to keep in mind: like most manure-based feeds it carries some phosphorus, so keep it off phosphorus-sensitive Australian natives such as grevilleas and banksias. It can also raise soil pH over time, so take a little care on already alkaline soils.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Yates AgriBoost made from?
It is an organic-based fertiliser made from fully composted chicken (poultry) manure, formed into slow-release pellets, with a typical analysis of NPK 3.5-1.1-1.6 plus trace nutrients.
How is AgriBoost different from Dynamic Lifter?
Both come from the same manufacturer. AgriBoost is the organic-based pelletised poultry manure line often used in larger gardens and commercial settings, while Dynamic Lifter is the retail-branded version. They are similar in concept but separate products.
Is it safe for all plants?
It suits most lawns, vegetables, flowers, trees and shrubs. Keep it away from phosphorus-sensitive natives like grevilleas and banksias.
How often should I apply it?
It is slow-release, so it keeps feeding over time. Reapply through the growing season as needed, for example every 6 to 8 weeks around roses and ornamentals from spring to mid autumn.
Is it suitable for organic gardening?
Yes. It is a BFA registered product and a certified input for organic production.
Where can I buy Yates AgriBoost pellets in Australia?
You can buy them from BPG Supplies (Bonnyrigg Produce & Garden Supplies) in Bonnyrigg NSW, with local pickup available and delivery Australia-wide.
