Brunnings Tough & Hardy Lawn Seed 1kg – Hard-Wearing Grass Seed for New Lawns & Patch Repairs
Brunnings Tough & Hardy Lawn Seed is a hard-wearing, economical grass seed blend for establishing new lawns quickly and thickening existing ones. With visible growth in just 5–7 days, it's made for busy backyards, nature strips and other high-traffic areas.
One 1kg box sows up to 30m² of new lawn or oversows up to 60m² of thin or patchy grass, giving you a fast-growing, hard-wearing lawn without the cost of turf.
Drought-Tolerant Lawn Seed with Wetting Agent & Turbocote
The blend includes drought-tolerant couch and is coated with Brunnings Turbocote, a formulation of biostimulants and seaweed concentrate fertiliser. The moisture-absorbent coating helps improve germination and establishment, while supporting root and shoot growth.
An added wetting agent helps water soak into the soil around the seed for improved drought tolerance. This makes the blend a good fit for clay and sandy soils, warmer weather and most Australian climate conditions.
Grass Seed for High-Traffic Lawns & Bare Patches
Tough & Hardy is designed for areas that cop plenty of foot traffic, such as back lawns, nature strips and play areas. Use it to start a lawn from scratch, repair worn and bare patches, or oversow a tired lawn to thicken it up.
The box is backed by Brunnings' lawn seed guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied with the results when sown as directed, you can claim replacement seed or a refund within 60 days of purchase.
