Rustic Industrial 3 Tier Wood Corner Shelf – Wall Mount Carbonised Pine & Black Metal Corner Rack

Rustic Industrial Wood Corner Shelf with 3 Wall Mounted Tiers

This rustic industrial corner shelf is a 3 tier wall mounted rack with carbonised pine boards on black metal uprights, made to turn an empty room corner into display and storage space. Each tier holds up to 3kg, which suits books, small plants, candles, framed photos and everyday bits, and the whole rack weighs just 960g.

Putting an Empty Corner to Work

Corners are often the most wasted space in a room, too awkward for furniture but too big to ignore. This shelf fits neatly into that gap, with the three boards staggered at different heights so each tier has room above it for taller items. It works in a living room, bedroom, home office, entryway or small apartment where floor space is tight and every bit of wall counts.

Carbonised Pine and Black Metal

The boards are pine that has been carbonised, a heat treatment that darkens the timber and brings out the grain for a warm, rustic look with natural variation from board to board. They sit on flat black metal uprights, giving the classic industrial mix of timber and steel that pairs well with farmhouse, Scandinavian and modern interiors alike.

Sized for Small Displays

Each board measures 25.9cm x 13cm, and the full rack stands 43.7cm tall, so it is a compact piece rather than a bookcase. It is best suited to paperbacks, trailing plants in small pots, candles, ornaments, toiletries and small collections, and the light weight makes it easy to hang.

Mounting and Styling Tips

Use a stud finder and screw into a stud where you can, or use wall anchors rated for your wall type, as plasterboard, brick and timber walls all need different fixings. Check the uprights are level before tightening, then load the shelf gradually and keep each tier under 3kg. For styling, put heavier and larger items such as books on the bottom tier, mid-sized pieces like candles or photo frames in the middle, and a trailing plant up top where it can hang down. Leave a little empty space on each shelf, group objects in odd numbers, and mix textures like greenery, ceramics and glass against the dark timber. In a bathroom, keep it in a well-ventilated spot away from direct splashes, as timber does best when it stays dry.

Frequently Asked Questions

What weight capacity can a wall mounted corner rack support?
This rack is rated for up to 3kg on each tier. The real limit also depends on your wall and fixings, so screw into studs or use suitable wall anchors, and spread weight evenly across each shelf.

How do you style a rustic industrial wood shelf in a room corner?
Place heavier items like books on the lowest tier, medium pieces in the middle and a trailing plant on top. Leave some breathing space, group items in odd numbers, and add greenery or ceramics to contrast with the dark timber and black metal.

What can I put on it?
It suits paperbacks, small potted plants, candles, photo frames, ornaments, toiletries and small collections. Keep each tier to 3kg or less.

Can I use it in a bathroom?
Yes, as long as the bathroom is well ventilated and the shelf is away from direct water spray. It is handy for folded hand towels, toiletries and small plants.

Is it hard to put up?
It comes with instructions and is simple to assemble. The main job is marking level holes and using fixings that suit your wall type.
