Plastic Green Chicken Trough 693 x 70mm (PPF18) – Long Poultry Feed Trough

Long Plastic Feed Trough for Chickens and Poultry

The Plastic Green Chicken Trough is a long, open feed trough for chickens and poultry, measuring 693 x 70mm. Its generous length lets several birds feed side by side at the same time, spreading the flock out rather than crowding around a small feeder. Made from durable green plastic and simple to fill and clean, it is a practical, low-cost feeder for the coop, run or pen.

Length for the Whole Flock

Chickens feed together, and a long trough is the easy way to keep up. At 693mm, this trough gives plenty of feeding space along its length, so more birds can eat at once with less pushing, which helps make sure the lower-ranked birds get a feed too. That makes it well suited to medium and larger flocks, or anywhere a small feed dish just does not offer enough room.

Open Trough, Easy to Fill and Clean

The open design makes the trough quick to fill and easy to clean, with nothing to unclip or lift off. A simple wipe and rinse keeps it hygienic between fills, and the durable plastic stands up to daily use in the coop or run. Because it is open, it is best kept under cover and topped up with what the birds will clear, so the feed stays clean and dry.

Handy for Feed or Grit

As well as everyday feed, a long open trough like this is handy for offering shell grit, supplements or scratch mix, so it earns its place in the coop for more than one job. Its shallow, elongated shape suits chickens and other poultry feeding at ground level.
