ELI Metal Poultry Feeder with Handle 15kg (300014) – Large Galvanised Chicken Feeder

Large Galvanised 15kg Poultry Feeder with Handle

The ELI Metal Poultry Feeder is a large, heavy-duty galvanised feeder that holds up to 15kg of feed, the biggest in the range. Made from tough galvanised metal, it stands up to weather and daily use, and its high capacity means you can keep plenty of feed up to a large flock with far fewer refills. With a strong handle and a ribbed anti-waste base, it is a serious, long-lasting feeder for bigger backyard flocks and small farms.

High Capacity for Larger Flocks

At 15kg, this feeder is built for volume. It holds a large supply of feed so you spend much less time topping up, which is exactly what you want with a big flock or when you are away from the coop for parts of the day. When the smaller feeders empty too quickly for your birds, this is the size that keeps up.

Ribbed Base Reduces Feed Waste

The ribbed base pan helps cut down on wasted feed. The ribs stop chooks flicking and scratching feed out of the pan as they eat, rather than a smooth-sided pan that lets them scratch it out. Keeping more feed in the pan matters even more with a large flock, where wasted feed adds up quickly, so the design pays off over time.

Strong Handle and Durable Build

The strong handle makes it easier to carry and lets you hang the feeder in the coop or run, keeping the feed up off the ground where it stays cleaner and there is less spillage. The lid keeps the feed protected, and being galvanised, the feeder is corrosion-resistant and hard-wearing, built to keep going season after season.

How to Use

Fill the feeder with your poultry feed and refit the lid. Stand it on a flat, level surface or hang it by the handle at around the birds' back height, so feed flows into the base pan as they eat. As this is a large feeder, take care lifting it when full. Position it in a sheltered spot to help keep the feed dry, and check the level regularly, topping up as needed. Empty and clean the feeder from time to time, and keep it dry when stored to protect the galvanised finish.
