Brunnings Weed Kill 360 Concentrate 1L: Glyphosate Weed Killer

Brunnings Weed Kill 360 is a glyphosate weed killer for controlling a wide variety of annual and perennial weeds and grasses around the home and garden. It contains 360 g/L glyphosate and is a Group M (Group 9) herbicide, ideal for spot weeding in garden beds, rockeries, driveways, paths, fence lines and lawn edges. This 1L concentrate makes many litres of spray, so it offers good value for regular garden weed control.

It works systemically. The glyphosate is absorbed through the leaves and green stems and travels through the plant's vascular system to the roots, so it kills the whole weed rather than just burning off the top. That's what gives lasting control, weeds treated properly don't grow back from the root.

What It Kills

Weed Kill 360 controls a broad range of grasses and weeds, including annual ryegrass, bamboo, buffalo grass, couch grass, lantana, paspalum and winter grass, along with many other common annual and perennial weeds.

Non-Residual: Replant After 14 Days

Glyphosate is non-residual, meaning it's inactivated when it contacts the soil and leaves no lasting residue. In practice, that means you can replant a treated area, usually about 14 days after spraying, which makes it well suited to clearing garden beds before planting. The flip side is that it doesn't prevent new weeds germinating later, so it controls what's growing now rather than acting as a long-term barrier.

How to Use

Mix Weed Kill 360 with clean water and apply with a garden sprayer, covering the leaves of the target weeds thoroughly. As a Brunnings label guide:

  • General annual and perennial weeds: 10 mL per 1 litre of water

  • Woody weeds: 15 mL per 1 litre of water

Spray when weeds are actively growing and not stressed by drought or frost. For perennial weeds, treat after flowering; for woody weeds, treat from flowering to leaf fall (around January to May). Best applied in dry conditions, avoid spraying if rain is likely soon after. Don't spray plants bearing edible berries, and repeat if necessary.

Important

Glyphosate isn't selective, so it will kill or damage any green plant it contacts, including lawns and garden plants. Keep spray and drift off anything you want to keep, and take care around desirable plants when spot-spraying.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Brunnings Weed Kill 360?
It's a glyphosate weed killer containing 360 g/L glyphosate, used to control weeds and grasses around the home and garden. It kills the whole plant, including the roots.

How do you mix Brunnings Glyphosate 360?
As a label guide, mix 10 mL per 1 litre of water for general annual and perennial weeds, or 15 mL per 1 litre for woody weeds. Apply with a garden sprayer, covering the leaves thoroughly. Always check the product label.

Does glyphosate 360 kill grass?
Yes. It kills grasses and weeds, including couch, buffalo, paspalum, winter grass and annual ryegrass. Because it isn't selective, it will also kill lawn grass, so it can't be used to weed a lawn.

What is glyphosate 360?
The "360" is the glyphosate concentration, 360 g/L in the concentrate. It's a widely used strength for home and garden weed control.

Is it safe to replant after using it?
Yes. Glyphosate is non-residual, so it's inactivated on soil contact. You can generally replant a treated area about 14 days after spraying.

How long does it take to work?
You'll usually see weeds yellowing within a few days, with full weed control in about 7 to 14 days depending on conditions.

Can I use it on my lawn?
No. It isn't selective and will kill lawn grass along with the weeds. Use it for spot weeding in beds, paths and driveways, keeping it off the lawn and desired plants.

When should I spray perennial and woody weeds?
Treat perennial weeds after flowering, and woody weeds from flowering to leaf fall (around January to May), when the plant is moving nutrients down to the roots.
