Automatic Pet Feeder and Water Dispenser: Gravity Food and Water Station for Cats and Small Dogs

Gravity Pet Feeder and Water Station in One

This automatic pet feeder and water dispenser keeps dry food and fresh water topped up for your cat or small dog in a single, compact station. A food hopper and a water bottle sit side by side above two bowls, and both refill on their own as your pet eats and drinks. It needs no power, batteries or app, so it's simple to set up and suits busy households where pets are home alone for part of the day.

How Does a Gravity Pet Feeder Work?

A gravity pet feeder uses the weight of the food and water to keep the bowls full. As your pet eats, kibble drops down from the hopper into the bowl to replace it. On the water side, the bottle sits upside down over the water bowl: as your pet drinks and the level falls, air enters the bottle and releases more water until the bowl refills. The result is a steady supply through the day without you topping up each bowl by hand.

Gravity Feeder or Timed Automatic Feeder?

Not every automatic cat feeder or automatic dog feeder works the same way, so it's worth choosing the right type:

• Gravity feeders like this one keep food and water available all the time. They suit cats and small dogs that graze and don't overeat, and they're handy for a day or a weekend at work or away.
• Timed or smart feeders release set portions at set times, often by app. They suit pets that eat too fast, gain weight easily, or need a controlled diet.

If your pet tends to finish whatever is in the bowl, a timed feeder is the better choice. If they nibble through the day, a gravity station keeps things simple.

Cleaner Water and Easy Cleaning

A baffle in the water bowl helps separate out dust and hair before it reaches the drinking area, and the cover on the food side helps keep kibble dry and fresh. The transparent tanks let you see at a glance how much food and water is left. The parts detach for washing, and a wide, stable base helps stop the station tipping or sliding while your pet eats.

Choosing the Best Automatic Pet Feeder

The best automatic pet feeder is the one that matches your pet's eating habits and your routine. Look for:

• The right type: gravity for grazers, timed or smart for portion control
• A size that suits your pet, so bowls sit at a comfortable height
• Food and water in one unit if you want fewer things to refill
• Parts that come apart for easy cleaning
• A stable base that won't tip
• A stainless steel bowl, which is easy to keep clean
