Avigrain Blue Range Seed Mixes
The Avigrain Blue range is a line of species-specific mixes made for breeders and serious bird keepers. Avigrain Budgie Blue is built on 50% canary seed with White French millet and smaller amounts of Jap millet, panorama, panicum and hulled oats. That makes it a leaner mix than millet-heavy blends.
The range also includes Finch Blue, Parrot Blue, Troppo Blue and Avigrain Cockatiel Blue, so you can match the mix to the birds in your aviary.
Premium Breeders and Everyday Mixes
For larger birds, the Avigrain Premium Breeders Cocky Mix suits cockatoos, galahs and corellas. The Premium Breeders range also includes a Canary Mix and a Peachface Mix for lovebirds.
Everyday options include Budgie Green, Finch Mix and Small Parrot Mix, which are popular, good-value staples for pet birds and busy aviaries.
Straight Seeds and Grains
Blend your own mix, or top up a favourite, with Avigrain straight seeds. Choose from plain canary seed, White French and Jap millet, sorghum (milo), safflower, canola, linseed and grey striped sunflower. For larger birds, poultry and pigeons, there are whole corn, wheat, barley, hulled oats, lupins, mung beans and dun peas.
Lorikeet Food and Wild Bird Mix
Avigrain Lori Dry is a lorikeet food based on rice, soya flour, calcium and a multivitamin blend. You can serve it dry or mix it with water. Avigrain Wild Bird Mix is a seed blend for backyard feeding. Offer it in small amounts and keep feeders clean.
Avigrain for Poultry and Pigeons
Avigrain Scratch Mix blends wheat, sorghum, cracked and whole corn, and layer pellets, so backyard chooks get more than straight grain. Hens still need grit, greens and fresh water alongside it. Pigeon keepers can choose Avigrain Pigeon Mix and Dun Peas, plus Avigrain Pigeon Shell Grit.
Avigrain Fine Shell Grit provides calcium and grinding grit for birds and poultry. It comes in sizes up to 20kg.

FAQs
What is the Avigrain Blue range?
The Blue range is Avigrain's line of species-specific mixes for budgies, finches, cockatiels, parrots and tropical birds. Budgie Blue, for example, is based on 50% canary seed, making it leaner than millet-heavy mixes.
What is the best Avigrain mix for budgies?
Budgie Blue is a popular choice with breeders and keepers who want a leaner, canary seed-based mix. Budgie Green is a good-value everyday option for pet budgies.
Is Avigrain Scratch Mix a complete feed for chickens?
Scratch Mix includes layer pellets as well as grain, but hens still need grit or shell grit for calcium, greens and fresh water. Many keepers feed it alongside a complete layer feed.
What sizes does Avigrain come in?
Most Avigrain mixes and seeds are available in 1kg, 2kg and 4kg packs and in 20kg bags. The larger bags are the best value for aviaries and flocks.
