David Grays Crab Grass & Clover Killer is a high powered selective lawn weedkiller that targets the weeds in your lawn while leaving compatible turf unharmed. The active constituents are 74g/L DSMA and 24g/L MCPA (present as the sodium salt), a dual-action mix that handles both grassy and broadleaf weeds. Because it's a stronger selective herbicide, it can knock down harder-to-kill weeds that standard lawn treatments leave behind.

What It Controls & Where

It's registered to control crabgrass, paspalum, Mullumbimby couch, nutgrass, clover and other weeds in your lawn. It's designed for use on couch, bent and fescue lawns, where it selects and kills the weeds without harming the turf when used as directed.

On Buffalo and Kikuyu lawns, use spot spray treatment only. Some damage to these lawns should be expected, so don't cover spray them. Always check that the product suits your specific lawn type before applying, and follow the label.

How to Use

Refer to the label for the full directions, but as a general guide from the David Grays label: for a cover spray, mix around 170mL in 2L of water per 10 square metres; for spot spraying, mix around 90mL in 1L of water. Spray weeds when they're young and actively growing, and wet them thoroughly without spraying to the point of run-off. Respray after about 10 days if needed. On Bent, Fescue, Kikuyu and Buffalo lawns, spray at half rate, and never cover spray Buffalo or Kikuyu. A wetting agent can improve results. The inner bottle must not be sold separately, and don't destroy the box while any product still remains.
