It carries a balanced N-P-K ratio of 4.5 - 5.5 - 5.5 plus trace elements, giving these plants the particular nutrition they need to thrive. This is the 2.5kg pack.
Why Acid-Loving Plants Need a Special Feed
Plants like azaleas and camellias have different nutritional needs to most garden plants, and feeding them the right blend makes a real difference to leaf colour, growth and flowering. This fertiliser is designed around those needs, with the added trace elements that help keep foliage healthy and green and support vigorous growth season to season.
Suitable Plants
As well as azaleas and camellias, it suits a wide range of acid-loving plants, including gardenias, rhododendrons and conifers. It can also be used on many potted plants, with one important exception noted below.
How to Apply
Apply the granules directly to the soil around the base of the plant at a rate of about 100g per square metre. For the best results, feed in spring and autumn, which are the key growth periods for these plants, and water in after applying so the nutrients start moving down to the roots.
