How to Use

Apply Brunnings Garden Lime once a year, spreading it evenly and watering in well.

• Vegetable beds (including heavily manured beds): apply around 150g per square metre, rake into the top 10 to 15cm of soil and water in.
• Flower beds: apply around 75g per square metre and water in.
• Lawns: apply in winter, using roughly the same total amount of lime as the lawn food you apply across the year.
• Compost: sprinkle a light layer between layers of organic material to help it break down.

Always check the directions on the pack. Autumn or early spring, a few weeks before planting, is the best time to lime garden beds. Don't apply lime at the same time as manure or fertiliser; leave at least two weeks between applications.
