HR Products 90° Two Piece Micro Spray, Quarter Circle – 4mm Thread, 2.2m Radius, Pack of 10

HR Products 90° Two Piece Micro Spray for Garden Bed Corners

The HR Products 90° Two Piece Micro Spray is a quarter circle micro sprinkler from the Professional Series, made for watering garden beds and landscaped areas in low pressure irrigation systems. At 100kPa it throws a 90° spray out to a 2.2m radius at 54 litres per hour, and its 4mm thread screws into rigid risers and micro adaptors. This pack contains 10 micro sprays.

Why a 90° Spray Suits Corners

A full circle spray set in the corner of a bed wastes three quarters of its water on fences, paths and walls. A 90° spray only covers the quarter of a circle in front of it, so when you place it in a corner, the water goes into the bed instead of onto the house or the driveway. Four of them, one in each corner of a small square bed, overlap to give even coverage across the whole area. They also suit the tight corners of courtyards, raised beds and planter boxes.

Performance at Low Pressure

Tested at 100kPa, each spray delivers 54 LPH across a 2.2m radius. Those figures help you plan a system: add up the flow of every spray on a line to make sure your tap and pressure reducer can supply them, and space sprays so their patterns overlap. Because these are designed for low pressure irrigation, running them through a pressure reducer and filter keeps the pattern even and protects fittings.

Two Piece Design with a 4mm Thread

The two piece construction and 4mm thread make these sprays easy to fit and maintain. They screw into standard rigid risers, riser stakes and micro adaptors, and the UV stabilised plastic is made to handle ongoing exposure to the Australian sun.

Planning and Installing Your Sprays

Place a 90° spray in each corner of the bed, angled so the spray points into the bed, and use half circle sprays along long edges if the bed is wider than about 4m. Space sprays so each one reaches roughly to the next, which gives even overlap and avoids dry patches. To fit them, screw each spray into a rigid riser or riser stake, then connect the riser to your 13mm or 19mm poly line with a barbed joiner and 4mm micro tube, or directly into a riser adaptor on the line. Keep sprays above the foliage so leaves do not block the pattern, and raise them as plants grow. Flush the line before fitting the sprays to clear any grit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you install micro sprayers into irrigation tubing?
Screw the spray onto a rigid riser, riser stake or micro adaptor using its 4mm thread. Then connect that riser to your main poly line, either with a length of 4mm micro tube and barbed fittings or with a riser adaptor fitted directly into the pipe.

Why use micro sprays instead of misting nozzles in garden beds?
Micro sprays produce larger droplets that travel further and land on the soil, so less water drifts away or evaporates. Misters suit propagation and humidity, while micro sprays are better for watering established garden beds.

Is this a full circle spray?
No. This is a 90° quarter circle spray, made for corners. For open areas, a 180° spray suits edges and a 360° spray suits the middle of a bed.

What pressure do these micro sprays need?
They are designed for low pressure irrigation systems, with a rated performance of 2.2m radius and 54 LPH at 100kPa. Use a pressure reducer for even spray and longer fitting life.

How many sprays can I run on one line?
Add up the flow of all the sprays you plan to use (54 LPH each at 100kPa) and compare it with your water supply. For larger areas, split the garden into separate zones.
