Roban Rodenticide Blocks 400g
Roban Rodenticide Blocks are a ready-to-use rat and mouse bait based on the anticoagulant difenacoum (0.05g/kg). The pre-waxed blocks are designed for controlling rats and mice in and around domestic, commercial, agricultural, public service and industrial buildings, and are particularly useful where rodents have become resistant to older anticoagulants such as warfarin. This tub contains 400g of bait.
The wax-based blocks stand up to damp and outdoor conditions better than soft baits, and each block has a hole through the centre so it can be secured onto the rod inside a bait station, keeping it in place and where it belongs. Difenacoum is an anticoagulant, so rodents that feed on the bait are controlled over the following days as they continue to feed, which is typical of anticoagulant baits.
Used within a bait station and placed where rodents are active, Roban is a practical option for bringing down a rat or mouse problem, including established infestations where other baits have stopped working. As with any rodenticide, careful placement and good bait-station discipline are important for both effectiveness and safety.

How to Use
Place the blocks in a lockable bait station, threading them onto the securing rod so they can't be moved or carried away, and position the station where rodents are active, such as along walls, runways and near burrows or entry points. Keep bait stations away from food, food-handling areas and water sources. Check the bait regularly and replace blocks as they're eaten while feeding continues, until rodent activity stops. Wear gloves when handling the bait and wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. Always read and follow the label directions and safety directions.
Safe Placement & Handling
Bait stations are strongly recommended, as they hold the bait securely and help keep it away from children, pets, livestock and non-target wildlife. Position bait close to walls and cover where rodents travel, rather than out in the open. Remove and dispose of any dead rodents promptly and according to the label, keep the tub sealed and stored high and out of reach of children and animals, and never transfer bait into unlabelled containers. If you have pets or livestock, take extra care with placement and follow all label precautions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the active ingredient?
It contains difenacoum at 0.05g/kg, an anticoagulant rodenticide.
Does it work on bait-resistant rodents?
It is used to control rats and mice, including those that have become resistant to some older anticoagulants such as warfarin.
Why use a bait station?
A bait station holds the block securely on its rod, protects it from weather, and helps keep it away from children, pets and non-target animals.
How long does control take?
Difenacoum is an anticoagulant, so rodents are controlled over a period of days as they keep feeding. Keep bait available until activity stops.
Where should I place the blocks?
Along walls, runways and near burrows or entry points where rodents are active, inside a bait station, and away from food and water sources.
Where can I buy Roban Rodenticide Blocks in Australia?
