Vetsense Kilverm Poultry Wormer 125ml: Liquid Wormer for Chickens and Birds
Vetsense Kilverm is a liquid poultry wormer for chickens and other birds, used to treat the main intestinal worms that affect a flock. The active constituent is levamisole (14g/L, equivalent to 16.5g/L levamisole hydrochloride), and it's simply added to drinking water, which makes it easy to dose a whole flock at once.
Kilverm treats sensitive strains of the three most common and important intestinal worms in poultry: large roundworm (Ascaridia galli), caecal worm (Heterakis gallinae) and hairworm (Capillaria spp.). It suits fowls, turkeys and other birds, and works for both routine preventative worming and treating an active worm burden.
A key convenience for backyard keepers is that there's no egg withholding period, so you can keep eating your hens' eggs during and after treatment. There is a meat withholding period, so if you keep birds for the table, that needs to be observed.
