Barmac Wettable Sulphur 2kg is a preventative fungicide and miticide with an active constituent of 800g/kg sulphur. It gives economical protection against powdery mildew, rust, brown rot, black spot and mites in registered crops, and works on both fungal disease and mite pressure from the one pack.

What It Controls & Where

Wettable Sulphur controls certain fungal diseases in grapevines, pome fruit, stone fruit and vegetables, and controls mites in citrus, grapevines and vegetables. It's a Group M2 fungicide, and there's also a permit (PER13863) for use in duboisia for red spider mite control.

The dry flowable formulation disperses rapidly in water for even coverage, and can be applied in tank mixes with a wide range of other chemicals and fertilisers, which makes it easy to fit into an existing spray program.

How to Use

Refer to the product label for the exact rates and instructions for your crop and target pest. As a general guide, mix the required amount with water and apply as a thorough foliar spray when disease or mites first appear, then repeat as the label directs. Spray in the early morning or late afternoon rather than the heat of the day, and do not apply when the temperature is above 25 degrees, as sulphur can burn foliage in hot conditions. When spraying a crop for the first time, especially in a tank mix, test a small area first and check for any leaf damage before treating the whole crop.
