Yates Leaf Greener Magnesium Chelate 500mL
Yates Magnesium Chelate is a fast-acting liquid trace-element treatment formulated to correct magnesium deficiency in garden plants. Magnesium supports chlorophyll production and photosynthesis, helping plants maintain healthy green foliage.
The chelated formula delivers magnesium directly to deficient leaves when applied as a foliar spray. It is suitable for citrus, tomatoes, vegetables, camellias, azaleas, gardenias and other compatible acid-loving plants.
Identifying Magnesium Deficiency
Magnesium deficiency generally appears first on mature or older leaves rather than the newest growth.
Common symptoms include:
-
Yellowing between the leaf veins
-
Veins remaining greener than surrounding tissue
-
An inverted V-shaped green area near the base of the leaf
-
Pale or unhealthy mature foliage
-
Reduced plant vigour
Yellow leaves can also result from watering problems, poor drainage or other nutrient deficiencies, so check the symptom pattern before applying treatment.
Why Use Chelated Magnesium?
Yates Magnesium Chelate contains magnesium in a lignosulfonate-chelated form. The product gradually releases the nutrient to minimise the risk of leaf burn while remaining available for foliar uptake.
The spray adheres firmly to foliage and becomes rain-fast approximately two to three hours after application.
